The new Gr4 was designed from the ground up with a unique aim: Going fast over the roughest terrain - and excelling at every day adventures. For us, a gravel bike is not just “a road bike with bigger tires”. It is so much more.

It is light (970g), has clearance for big tires (57mm), ergonomics and has the responsiveness and handling our bikes are known for.

Equipped for the escape

Unlike Pro road racing, much of what makes a successful gravel race bike also makes a great bike for everyday adventures - when it's designed right. In gravel races like The Traka and Unbound, which are 300+ km, muscle fatigue becomes a major issue.

The Gr4 is designed to go fast over long distances. In addition, we’ve enhanced all of the bikepacking features like our integrated Baggage System, multiple cargo and fender mounts and internal down-tube Stash Hatch storage.

Intuitive Gravel Geometry

For us, a gravel bike is not “a road bike with bigger tires”.

The Gr4 is designed from the ground up with a specific purpose: going far and fast over challenging terrain. We kept the rear-center length as short as possible while still allowing for big rubber and a 48t front chainring. A slightly stretched front end allows us to optimise handling around bigger volume tires and the headstack will put most riders in a position for long days in the saddle.

Combined, this makes the Gr4 responsive and quick when needed, but also stable at speed and comfortable over long distances.

01

What makes the Gr4 different?

The Gr4 is our most advanced gravel frameset yet. It has increased tire clearance, is around 500 g lighter (including fork, cockpit, and seatpost), and offers sharper, more responsive handling. The Gr4+ frameset features an even higher grade of carbon fibre (high modulus Torayca M40J) for added stiffness-to-weight efficiency. We’ve also added an internal stash hatch for tools and essentials.

02

What has stayed the same?

The Gr4 keeps the proven Fara gravel geometry and sporty ride feel you know from the previous F/Gravel. We’ve retained the bikepacking mounts, hidden fender mounts, and all-road versatility.

03

What is “Bespoke Assembly”?

Every Gr4 is built exclusively for its owner. From handlebar width to stem length and crank length, you choose the fit that matches your body and riding style. Once your order is placed, we assemble your bike to your exact specifications. No off-the-shelf builds — just a precision fit for performance and comfort.

04

What is the largest tire I can use?

29 x 2.2/57mm MEASURED Width (Note: tire manufacturers measure differently, so it’s best to use calipers to check that the tire isn’t over 57mm wide).

05

What’s the smallest tire I can use?

700 x 45mm is the smallest tire we recommend for handling characteristics and safety. Any smaller would lower the bottom bracket and increase the risk of pedal strikes in corners and off road.

06

Why do I need bigger tires?

Speed, grip, control and comfort. Our experience is that they are just faster on most kinds of gravel and bigger tires gives a feeling of being in control. That also make them more fun to ride.

07

What front chainring can I fit?

Up to 50 tooth in the front using a SRAM Wide, or GRX 1x cranksets.

08

Can I use a mechanical drivetrain?

No, the Gr4 is designed for wireless electronic drivetrains only, with or without our internal stem.
